Shear Love founder and Master Stylist, Mimi Lee feels blessed to have the opportunity to work with something as personal as hair. Her passion is to enlighten and inspire people, providing them a heightened sense of self-worth through the touch of hairdressing. However, after 12 years experience in the hair industry working as a stylist and salon owner, she has become increasingly aware of the environmental impact of the products and ingredients that stylists choose to put on the hair and scalp. This has inspired her to transform her salon into a green salon. Her professional goal is to maintain a thriving green business, teach, and support other salons. One of the major inspirations inspirations of her movement towards being green has been the philosophy of Davines. Including: zero-impact products, minimal/reusable plastic, renewable energy, as well as living enzymes in the super active treatments.  Mimi started her education at Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, California.  Throughout Mimi's career she has worked with several mentors that have inspired her craft. Gerard Scarpaci, Creative Director of Arrojo, was her first mentor that introduced her to Davines in 2006. Since then she has brought Davines into all of her salons. As a mentor and leader, she loves to give back to others in the industry. Through his teaching and mentoring experience, she has been able to support others in their goals and grow herself. Not only in her craft as a hairdresser, but as a better person. With all of these skills she strives to provide one with a more confident sense of self and consciousness to our earth which will help make this world a better place.  Mimi is currently a Davines educator, and also an in-salon educator.
